Neil Hiralall

Known for his sharp analytical skills and ability to problem solve and adapt while working under intense pressure, Neil leads our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function, a team that includes Credit and Collateral Risk, Market Risk, Model Risk, Compliance and Operational Risk Management.

A seasoned professional, he has held leadership roles at Fleet Financial Group, Bank of New York Mellon, Investors’ Bank & Trust, and Brown Brothers Harriman.  

Neil assumed his current role in 2025 after serving as vice president, deputy chief risk officer. He joined us in 2014 as vice president, director of asset and liability manager and subsequently assumed the role of director of market risk management where he oversaw all aspects of the Market Risk Management division.

During his time at FHLBank Boston, Neil has also taken a lead on transformational information technology projects and other significant initiatives. 

When not at work, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, and as an avid DIYer, likes working on cars and home projects.
