Shanda joined the Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®) team in 2023 and is a highly accomplished financial professional who brings over two decades of experience to her role as a Program specialist.
In her critical role, Shanda provides comprehensive support to Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) in the MPF Program. She serves as a “go-to” expert on the Program, offering guidance and training to PFIs on their responsibilities related to secondary market loan manufacturing, commitment delivery, and servicing for investors. Shanda also plays a vital role in assisting prospective PFIs through the application process.
Within FHLBank Boston, she collaborates closely with relationship managers and other stakeholders to provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of PFIs. She also actively collaborates internally with the credit department for PFI approvals and issuance of master commitments, ensuring a proactive and efficient process.
Prior to joining the Bank, Shanda served as vice president of loan operations at Workers Credit Union in Littleton, Massachusetts, assistant vice president of loan servicing at Wakefield Co-operative Bank in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and loan servicing supervisor at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union in Lowell, Massachusetts. Her extensive financial expertise extends back to several roles at USALLIANCE Financial in Woburn, Massachusetts, where she excelled in various management and specialist positions in real estate operations and loan servicing.
Shanda resides in New Hampshire with her husband, stepson, and her rescue dog, Oshie. A huge sports fan, she never misses watching the Boston Bruins play and has a passion for all sports, including pro motocross.
